Chipotle Teams Up with Spirit Halloween for Spooky and Savory Costumes

Get ready to spice up your Halloween with a touch of burrito brilliance! Chipotle Mexican Grill is taking the costume game to a whole new level with its debut costume collection, launching today in partnership with Spirit Halloween(See YouTube official channel below), North America's leading Halloween retailer. This unique collection, inspired by viral memes from both brands, marks the first time a fast-casual restaurant has ventured into meme-inspired costumes.

The collection will be available exclusively at SpiritHalloween.com and select Spirit Halloween stores in major cities including Chicago, Denver, Egg Harbor Township, Los Angeles, and New York, while supplies last. The lineup features five quirky costumes: a Chipotle napkin, fork, water cup, burrito, and to-go bag. Each costume will be sold individually for $39.99 and is available in sizes ranging from adult small to XL.

"Our popular Halloween tradition, Boorito, began with a burrito-themed costume contest and now we're taking it to the next level with the launch of our first-ever costume collection in collaboration with Spirit Halloween," said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle. "In addition to these bodysuits, we will be treating fans to a scarily great offer next month."

This collaboration draws inspiration from the popular trend of creating DIY costumes featuring iconic Spirit Halloween bags. Two years ago, Chipotle got in on the action with a fictional “Chipotle Fork” bodysuit, which was followed by a “Chipotle Napkin” costume concept, collectively garnering over 700,000 fan interactions. Now, these viral memes are coming to life in this exclusive Halloween collection.

"We're no strangers to memes at Spirit Halloween. Year after year, we are blown away by the passion and creativity we see from fans sharing their take on popular Spirit Halloween memes – and we're beyond thrilled to be teaming up with Chipotle to bring some of those creations to life," added Kym Sarkos, Executive Vice President at Spirit Halloween.

Chipotle has a history of turning online buzz into real products, as seen with their limited-edition lemonade-scented soy candle shaped like a Chipotle water cup. With this new costume collection, they’re bringing even more of their fan-favorite memes to life.

For those eager to get their hands on these limited-edition costumes, mark your calendars for September 6 and visit SpiritHalloween.com or a participating Spirit Halloween store near you. Happy haunting!
